The creative process that inspires me is an eagerness to make connections and express these connections with paint - a passion for what I see and an urgency to respond. I am primarily an oil painter and describe my style as "painterly realism."

In discussing my work at a recent exhibit, the gallery manager said, "Her works are elegantly balanced constructions of form and color. . . never sentimental. The joy of regarding her work is seeing competence welded with the superb discretion of an experienced image-maker."
